First game back and first win of the season! Lots of youngsters stepping-up playing a really good game!

MEN'S 1 won 6-1 away to Nottingham Players 1

Goals: Owen Arthur, Alex Hammant (2), Ben Sleeman & Luke van Diepen

MEN'S 2 lost 0-5 at home to Khalsa Leamington 3

Player of the Match: Lee Gaterell

Lee had a great game in goal to keep the scoreline down!

MEN'S 3 lost 2-4 Ashby 3

Player of the Match: Jake Sutherland

The 3rd team turned out for the first game of season looking more like a 50s veterans team given the average age. Unfortunately the team seemed to forget this age and decided to run around like headless chickens so promptly went 4 goals down.

A calming half time team talk seemed to work however with a much improved second half. Some nice passing saw us pulling 2 goals back but ran out of time going down 2-4.

Player of the Match went to Jake fSutherland or a solid performance in goal with a close second going to George Smith for some great running in midfield.
