MEN'S 1 won 3-0 away to Boots 2

MEN'S 2 lost 0-1 at home to Atherstone Adders 2

MEN'S 3 lost 1-4 at home to University of Warwick 4

MEN'S 4 lost 1-6 away to Leicester 4

Goal: Louis Dickinson

The away leg of the A6 derby went the way of the home side. Some poor goalkeeping allowed Leicester to score three quick goals in the first minutes of the first half. Harborough played some good hockey and were awarded a couple short corners but were unable to convert. Leicester added a fourth before half time.

The second half saw Leicester start well. Harborough upped the game with some nice passing hockey, and Louis Dickinson finished off a good team move to get a well deserved, and well overdue, goal. Harborough held off several more attacks from the home team before Leicester added a fifth. With a couple of minutes left on the clock Leicester were awarded a penalty stroke which they duly converted. Final score Leicester 6 Harborough 1.

WOMEN'S 1 won 5-1 away to Earls Barton 1

Goals: Harriet Goswell, Hattie Hammond (3) & Charlie James

Second game of the year and we were all feeling a bit out of practice. Started slow in the first half with the majority of the possession in the opposition D but struggling to put it away in the goal. We went one down but kept our heads and got it back to 1-1 before getting a second goal right before half time.

We went into the second half with more confidence and some lovely passing around the pitch. Final score 5-1 to Market Harborough with a shout out to Hattie Hammond for her hat-trick and Player of the Match performance.

WOMEN'S 2 drew 2-2 at home to Leicester City 5 (away game)
