A busy weekend with a couple of rearranged fixtures on the Sunday sees the Women's 1s extend their lead at the top of their division!
MEN'S 1 lost 0-6 any to North Notts 1
MEN'S 2 won 3-1 at home to Warwick 3
Goals: Jordan Allen, Will Feavyour & Ryan Harrison
Player of the Match: Finn Ingram-Hawkes
MEN'S 3 lost 2-6 away to Atherstone Adders 3
Goals: Richard Goswell & Ben Sleeman
Player of the Match: Matt Knipe
The 3s travelled to Atherstone who are 2nd in the table and came second going down 6-2. The score was however very flattering to them and it was a great team performance. Harborough easily held our own for the first 25 mins but a spell just before half time saw them go 3-0 up.
The second half started better with Richard Goswell scoring to get us back into the game. They scored again to pull away again but then we got a flick. Up stepped Ben Sleeman convinced the keeper he was going to rocket it into the top corner, the reality however was a miss hit that went so slow straight down the middle and under the keeper! We pushed forward to try and get closer and in doing so left space that allowed them to score 2 more.
Despite the score line a great team performance and well done to Louis Dickinson, Phil Dickinson and Manmeet Singh for stepping up. Player of the Match went to Matt Knipe for a solid game at the back.
MEN'S 4 lost 0-5 at home to Rugby & East Warwickshire 6
The Men's 4s took on Rugby & East Warwickshire 6 in a top versus bottom clash at RSA. The visitors came on the back of a good winning streak and were well organised playing solid attacking hockey. Harborough defended well and soaked up a lot of the pressure but two well taken goals saw the visitors leading at the break.
Harborough upped their game in the second half but were not able to capitalise on some good chances. The second half saw more end-to-end hockey and despite some resolute defending the visitors added three more before the final whistle.

Player of the Match: Maisie Howe
BADGERS won 8-1 at home to Northampton Saints 2

A great performance from our team. that was all juniors and no goalkeeper, against the Saints team that included two adults and a goalkeeper!
