The MHHC Intraclub Summer League is back for six weeks of warmer hockey fun! 

What is the MHHC Intraclub Summer League? 

It’s a fun competition at RSA between teams made up of mixed ability, ages and genders from within the club. Each week, each team will play two roughly 25 minute, half-pitch games against other similarly mixed teams in the league, all competing to be crowned winners. Between them, each team will also umpire the other game scheduled for that evening that they’re not playing in. 

Who can play?

The Summer League is open to everyone aged 13 and over. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just looking to have a laugh, this is for you!

When is the Intraclub Summer League?

The six-week Intraclub Summer League will be every Wednesday from 15 April to 20 May. We meet at 19:15 for the set up and at 19:30 we pushback. We finish and clear up for 21:00. 

What will the teams be like?

The teams will be mixed ability, where possible consisting of even numbers of players from each league team (men's and women's 1s, 2s, 3s, and a mix of ages. To give your team the best chance of success, consistent attendance is strongly encouraged! 

How much does it cost?

The charge for playing in the Intracub Summer League includes the whole six weeks of fun. Infact, if you sign up for all six in advance, you only pay for 5!

What if I know that I won’t be able to play every week?

The sign up form will include the option to let us know in advance of weeks that you won’t be able to attend. If we know this in advance, as there are likely to be other people in a similar boat the makeup of the teams can reflect this. Additionally, letting us know in advance which weeks you can’t attend will mean you only pay for the weeks that you can.

Rebranded for 2026 as the MH Unnecessaerials, the men's section is playing in the Midlands Mercian Summer Hockey League again this summer! 🌞🏑

Fixtures are mid-week evening games, running from May to July. Matches are open to players aged 16 and over.
